A large, well-lighted room has been used as a studio for the Art De-partment, and the rest of the building is occupied by theMusic Department for office, teaching rooms and prac-tice rooms, together with a large room for the Kinder-garten. New Dormitories. The Dormitories of the University were filled last yearand it became evident to the Board of Trustees that ad-ditional accommodations must be provided for the steadilyincreasing number of students. At the same time it wasthought that the time had come to make some arrange-ment whereby students of limited means might secure avery low rate of board and thus reduce expenses to thelowest possible point. In pursuance of these purposesfour new dormitories have been provided. East House. Through the generosity of John B. Stetson, a largeeleven-room house adjoining the University campus has 16

The rates are the regular college rates, with the ex-ception of four specially large and fine rooms, with win-dows on two sides, for which there is an extra charge ofone dollar per week—if two students occupy the room,fifty cents per week each, All ^college men will be locatedin this house until it is filled. Conrad Hall. This is a new dormitory for young men, erectedthrough the generosity of Mr. J. B. Conrad, of Glenwood,Fla., after whom the Hall is named, and of many generousfriends of the University, throughout this and otherStates.
