Notes
  • Significance: Located at 104 12th Street between downtown Charlottesville and the University of Virginia, this small outbuilding which served the John Vowles House (1111 West Main Street) and 1113 West Main Street, is typical of the early nineteenth century kitchen outbuildings. The kitchen, with the two late Georgian townhouses, are among the oldest buildings still standing in Charlottesville, and are typical of the Charlottesville cityscape in the 1820's.
