Notes
  • Significance: The bridge over the Yellowstone River was one of the last pin-connected Pratt through truss structures constructed across a major watercourse in Montana. The bridge exhibits all the features traditionally associated with the bridge type, with one notable exception. The floor system was modified to accommodate the utilization of the bridge by modern mechanized farm equipment. The modified floor system was experimental and funded through a contribution from New York oil man and part-time Montana rancher, W. Dixon Ellis.
  • Survey number: HAER MT-103
