We are doing work in ear training and some elementary work in harmony,which is very necessary to the study of music. The music pupils have done very satisfactory work on society programsand recitals, which gives them assurance in appearing before people. Respectfully submitted, Agnes Haugan,Director. BLIND INDUSTRIAL WORK. To H. J. Menzemer, President: It has been my pleasure to direct the industrial work of the blind girls.They have all learned to do plain hemming, sew on buttons, some to crochet,and some to knit. This not only helps them to be independent of others, butgives them something to pass their leisure time with.Finished work: 2 corset covers 1 dresser scraf 2 table runners 1 crochet nut set At present the girls are knitting squares for an afghan.This work is enjoyed by all of the girls.
