Dentistry, shopping, and dressmaking ought to be attended toas far as possible before coming to school, so as not to interfere withthe regular school work of the pupil. Pupils are received only under the condition that they are willingto conform to the rules of this institution. II REPORTS AND STANDINGS Regular reports of deportment, scholarship, and attendance willbe sent to parents or guardians three times during the year. 75 is the passing mark. The standing of pupils is classified as follows:75-80, passed.80-90, passed with credit.90-100, passed with honor. Class standings in the school are determined in the followingmanner: One-third from daily recitations, one-third from daily ap-plication, and one-third from written tests. Students, who have maintained an average class standing of 90per cent in any subject, and whose deportment reaches the 95 per centstandard, will be advanced in that subject without examination. 12
