reaction takes place,at the end of a week a second instillation of one dropof one-half per cent, solution is instilled into the sameeye. He believes the zymogen created by the first in-stillation is activated by the second, causing the anti-tuberculin ferment to attack the tuberculin, therebyliberating the toxic cleavage product in large amount,even though the second dose is but one-half of thefirst.
