A croquetground also graced the campus, on Avhich those Avho tended toward the agedand corpulent spent their superfluous energy. The campus is decorated with a few memorials left in this era. Just in frontof College Hall is a stone memorial left by the Noruial English and Prepara-tory class of 1904. The excitement created by the unveiling of this monumenthas left a lasting impression on those who witnessed the scene. Class rivalrywas so keen and sharp that it came nea?; costing the reputation, if not theheads, of the participants. In the summer time girls find this a very convenientneat while they read their letters from their parents and loved ones.
