Notes
  • Significance: The Riding Hall is one of the principal buildings by Cram, Goodhue, and Ferguson at West Point and is characteristic of their collegiate neo-gothic forms. Located on the site of the original riding hall, this building symbolizes one of the traditional courses of military instruction at that time. Its siting also helped to redefine the West Point Plan in its present formation. The Riding Hall exhibits one of the strongest architectural images of the Academy as viewed from the Hudson River.
  • Unprocessed Field note material exists for this structure: FN-363
  • Survey number: HABS NY-5708-23
