  • Significance: It was associated with the accelerated development of the industrial district at the station during mobilization for WWII. It served continuously as a production/sheet metal shop and telephone exchange. It was a good example of an industrial vernacular adaptation of the Art Moderne style, which characterizes many of the buildings in the industrial district.
