Notes
  • Significance: The Henry E. Braden House is a two-story, Prairie-style dwelling commissioned by prominent black businessman and community leader Henry R. Braden in 1925. The building was designed by the New Orleans architectural firm Mason and Sporl and is a contributing element to the Uptown New Orleans Historic District. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 for its state architectural significance for the period ca. 1820 to 1935.
