Notes
  • Significance: F-5 was used for oil storage, pilot plant, maintenance shop, and damaged products recovery purposes at the Colgate Jersey City plant from c1925 to 1988. The structure is a heavily modified remnant of the Vulcan Iron Works, for which it was originally built. No other Vulcan Iron Works structures survive. Although not an individually significant structure, F-5 was significant as a component of the Colgate plant.
  • Survey number: HAER NJ-71-MM
