Anne Warren Weston said: "We think as I believe I wrote that we shall try to have the next Fair in the hall at the corner of Summer Street." Anne would "cut off the refreshment room, the speaking evenings & some other extraneous things..." She argues for omitting publication of the Liberty Bell. If Maria (Weston Chapman) thinks the Liberty Bell should be continued, she should put it into the hands of Edmund Quincy. Thomas Earle asked for the picture of the slave auction, which is to be placed in a public institution in Worcester; Anne told him that it was at Chauncy Place
Enclosed, is an envelope that may have contained the original manuscript. It is addressed to: "17 Rue de Clichy, Miss Caroline Weston, Care of Messrs Greene & Co., Paris, France." It is postmarked: "22 M[a]Y 1849" and "23 May [18]49, Boulogne-S-Mer." On the flap of the envelope, there is an additional note by Anne W. Weston
