  • Significance: North Entrance Road is significant as an early example of the cooperative agreement between the NPS and the BPR to build quality automotive roads within national parks. Although most road-related structures reflect utilitarian reconstruction of the 1980s, it retains its 1928 rustic log entrance station, original 1931 alignment, and 1939 entrance sign.
