Notes
  • Significance: Building 1205 is a well-preserved example of an Intermountain Region Plan R4-51B office. During the 1930's, Plan R4-51 was the Ranger Station office plan most frequently constructed in southern Idaho. It is also likely to have been the most widely-used office plan in the rest of the Intermountain Region. The majority of R4-51 offices in Idaho have since been removed or heavily remodelled. This structure is one of a handful retaining mostly original materials and construction details. In addition, the building is associated with Federal efforts to stimulate recovery from the Great Depression. It was constructed by a Civilian Conservation Corps crew. Names of crew members and the location of their camp are no longer known.
  • Survey number: HABS ID-67
  • Building/structure dates: 1938 Initial Construction
  • Building/structure dates: ca. 1987
