English: First Class Reading Room on the 'Llandovery Castle' (1914)

Interior of the passenger liner 'Llandovery Castle' (1914) showing the First Class Reading Room, on the Promenade Deck. A view looking across to the starboard side, showing the armchairs grouped in the centre, and writing tables around the perimeter. A large bookcase is visible on the right.

The room was decorated with winged putti heads on each side of the windows, below the ceiling frieze. A Corinthian column can be seen in the background.
