Port. by Giovanni Battista Sintes of John V, King of Portugal, to whom work is dedicated. Plates at end depicting St. Peter's Basilica with decorations are numbered I-XXXII at upper right, partly in the plate and partly by hand stamping. They are also stamped 11-42 at lower right to reflect the 9 leaves of ill. that precede (one bearing 2 plates). Many plates are signed by Sintes as etcher (2 by Antonio Gramignani), some after drawings by Antonio Rinaldi, some with Luigi Vanvitelli credited as architect. Includes two plates that depict the procession and reception of the Chinea
