CENTRAL RAILROAD OF NEW JERSEY. 47 mean pretensions, let us return to the opposite side.Near the station is to be «een what, from its shape, iscalled the Round House, and which contains the enginethat blows the blast furnace, one of the largest, if notquite the largest engine in the country. Taking the main street of the town to the northward,we soon reach the Wyoming House, an elegant edificeof large proportions, and affording the traveler the mostexcellent accommodations. A walk of five minutes from the station takes us tothe Rolling Mills, on the banks of Roaring Brook. Onthe way we pass the residence of the late Colonel Scran-ton, which is very elegant both in itself and in its sur-roundings. These mills are on the north side of thetown, and, to be properly appreciated for their sceniceffect,, should be visited at night.
