Deutsch: Hohenlimburg Blick vom Klippchen. Postkarte von 1911. – Aussicht vom Möllerdenkmal am Klippchen auf den Bentheimer Hof (noch verschiefert und mit Saalbau) an der Lennebrücke. Dort wird von einem Wachposten gerade Brückenzoll erhoben. Darüber sieht man das große Dach vom Rathaus, dem gegenüber an der Kreuzung zur Freiheitstraße das Fachwerkhaus „Gasthof zur Post“; erste Poststelle Limburgs (1786 Posthalter Polscher). Rechts hinter dem Rathaus das Gesundheitsamt (mit Turm), weiter rechts „Im Weinhof“ das Dach vom Amtsgericht, die katholische Bonifatius Kirche und Weinhofschule. Darüber hinter der Bahnstrecke die Hagener Chaussee mit dem Gasthof Möller und oberhalb schon einige Häuser „An der Kehle“ und „Raffenbergstraße“. Ganz links am Berghang die ersten Häuser an der Eggestraße (heute Boeingstraße). |
