Diameter, 5 inches. 53— Pure White Gallipot Of graceful shape and thin porcelain. Decorated with incisedbands of archaic and palm-leaf designs, and enamelled with apellucid white glaze. Chien-lung period (17-if»-l 79.>). H.isteakwood stand. Height, 5 inches. 54— Coral-red Vase Melon-shaped. Hard paste of the Chien-lung period (1736-1795). Enamelled with a monochrome glaze of coral-red. Thescalloped lip and inside of mouth is invested with a robins eggblue crackled glaze. Seal mark underneath the foot. Height, 4j inches. 55— Celadon Bottle-shafbd Vase Thick porcelain of the Kang-hsi period (1661-1722).
