Dense porcelain of Kang-hsi, coated with a peachbloomglaze having a bolt! crackle. The glaze presents varied notes ofpink, with rosy fleckings, and in its transparency reveals threescrolling cloud medallions etched in the paste. Penciled in bril-liant blue beneath the white glaze under the foot, Ta-ChingKang-hsi nicn-chih (.Made in the reign of Kang-hsi of the greatChing dynasty—the dynasty overthrown in the late revolution).Has stand.
