This organization with a membership of nearly 3,500business and professional men, contains several internalorganizations—Manufacturers and Wholesale MerchantsBoard, Convention Board, Retail Merchants Board, Asso-ciation of Womens Wear Manufacturers, Association ofMotion Picture Producers and Hay and Grain Exchange. Cleveland has always been a convention town, and it likesconventions. It has known, always, that gatherings oftradesmen, manufacturers, and scientists are good for thecity, and that those who attend conventions here if they beinterested in modern business and manufacturing develop-ment and in civic improvements, are deeply impressed andbenefited. For the accommodation of such conventions, Clevelandis unusually equipped. Three of its best hotels are thelargest in Ohio, and a fourth is of but slightly smaller ca-pacity.
