The first part of this letter is in the form of a diary. Caroline Weston tells about a colonization meeting, speeches by John Hilton and John White Browne, the Anti-Slavery offices being filled with people attracted by the colonization debate, a visit to the Garrisons, Alanson St. Clair's resignation, Edmund Quincy, and family doings. On page three of the manuscript, is a letter from Caroline Weston to Deborah Weston. Caroline discusses the possibility of changing schools
