Edmund Quincy was "amazed to hear of Garrison's deferring the insertion of the Call." Edmund Quincy has written to Oliver Johnson to have it put in the next Liberator as an advertisement and charged to him. Presumably, Maria Weston Chapman favors that it is inserted in the Non-Resistant. Edmund Quincy fears that he cannot go to Worcester, and Springfield is out of the question
The "call" is also mentioned in another letter by Edmund Quincy to Maria Weston Chapman, Oct. 6, 1840, Call No. Ms.A.9.2 v.14, p.37
