On peut estimer que dans des conditions favorables, il faut2 secondes par centimètre de chair à traverser pour les corpsvivants ou les pièces anatomiques. Pour les distances des ampoules aux objets, on peut dire : 1° Que pour une ampoule mo^^enne avec 6 à 8 éléments, ilfaut que la distance soit de 15 à 20 centimètres ; 2° Quavec une grande ampoule et une grande bobine, ilfaut placer les objets de 50 à 80 centimètres ; Lavantage quil y a à employer des bobines à grandes étin-celles, permettant dopérer à grande distance, est de pouvoirobtenir des images normales.
