Getty copy stamped: Collection E. Eug. Goupil à Paris, ancienne collection de J.M.A. Aubin. Since Goupil acquired Aubin's collection in 1889, the present copy apparently remained in the Aubin collection rather than being used to illustrate the Anales article
Right-hand edge of plate attached to sheet of heavy stock that forms the back cover. It is joined to a similar front cover by pasted brown paper
"El original de este mapa... perteneció a la colección de Boturini. El colector de antigüedades mexicanas, M. Aubin, lo adquirió y lo llevó á Paris, y allí el Sr. D. Fernando Ramírez hizo imprimirlo en la litografía de J. Desportes"--Anales del Museo Nacional de México, t. 3, entrega 9-11 (1886). Now in collection of Bibliothèque nationale (Manuscrits mexicains 13-14). Published by Aubin in 1851 and 1855 at Paris as plate 3 of Codex méxicains, comprising Mappe Tlotzin, Mapa Quinatzin, and Mappe de Tepechpan. In upper right corner of present copy is: Mappe de Tepechpan. Pl. 3., and on the lower right margin: Litho. de J. Desportes, à l'Inst. impér. des sourds muets; these points are said to be characteristic of the version of plate 3 published in the Anales. (The preceding from OCLC record for copy at Am. Mus. of Nat. Hist.)
