  • Significance: Built in 1922 with a northern addition built in 1927-1928 and a separate annex building addition in 1948, the Westside School receives its significance as the oldest remaining school in the city of Las Vegas. Although socially significant to many groups, the Westside School is especially significant to the local African-American community as it was the initial exposure to racially integrated education along the Westside.
