Thequestion is, to get one who is known to have a reputation for honest and fair-dealing; a man who is not going to be bought, who will place the ribbonwhere it belongs. These are the men who will prove successful judges, andwill give the greatest satisfaction to all concerned. The judges should notbe criticised if they make an honest mistake trying to do what is right.Tliej should have the sympathy of the officers of the societies. You are aware that we are holding a two-day convention in Toronto,and we have delegates in attendance from nearly every county in the Pro-vince—men who are experts in their ))articular lines of business and whoare here to devise ways and meaiis wherohy thoy can further the interests ofagriculture.
