Provisions should be made for the employment of field officers as in Pennsylvania, and for home teachers asin Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Delaware. ISTinth. The People of the State of New Yorlc, represented in Senateand Assemhly, do enact as follows: Section 1. There shall be established a state board, to be knownas the New York State Board for the Blind, consisting of fivepersons to be appointed by the Governor within sixty days afterthe passage of this act. § 2. The full term of office of the members of this board shallbe five years. But of the first commission appointed, one membershall be appointed for a term of five years, one for a term of fouryears, one for a term of three years, one for a term of two years,and one for a term of one year.
