The de-parture from south to north is about tendegrees, and yet through this great ex-panse a primitive race of Blacks seemsto have descended, and to have distrib-uted itself from north to south and fromwest to east throughout Australia. The existence of such a fact in ethno-graphic history suggests most strongly aformer distribution of the Former oceanic lands and waters of the outreach of AsiaEastern Hemisphere dif- prcfering much from the present.
