Notes
  • Significance: South Plains Presbyterian Church, founded in 1819, is one of the oldest Presbyterian Churches in Albemarle County and the "mother" church to the First Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville. Originally a simple one room brick structure, the building design was altered in the early 1900's to incorporate Gothic features and the addition of a vestibule.
