A LLEVARD (Isere). Situated on the River Breda■^^^ at an altitude of 1500 feet in a valley protected byhigh mountains and amidst some of the most beautifulAlpine scenery. The thermal establishment is of con-siderable importance, fitted with all the latest appliances,equipments and systems, usually found in the principalsulphurous thermal baths. WATERS—Cold sulphurated hydrogen. TREATMENT—Internal and external; cold and warminhalation; the warm inhalation apparatus is installed inthe form of an amphitheatre, so that the required temper-ature may be easily regulated. RECOMMENDED in cases of chronic catarrh, affec-tions of respiratory organs, skin diseases and rheumatism. SEASON—First of June to 30th of September. Theatres, concerts, and excellent mountain excursionsin vicinity; comfortable hotels at moderate prices;numbers of villas and furnished houses. Distant from Paris 430 miles via Paris, Lyons andMediterranean Ry. 44

T TRIAGE (Isere) is situated at the entrance of the^-^ beautiful park-like valley of Vaulnaveys and has analtitude of 1350 feet. This resort is becoming more andmore popular, as in addition to its thermal springs it isalso an air-cure station of some importance. The medicinal value of the Uriage Springs were al-ready known and appreciated by the Romans. Thewaters are of a saline sulphurous nature varying in tem-perature from 81 to 130 degrees F. TREATMENT—Internal and external. RECOMMENDED in cases of chronic constipation,affections of the skin, the bones and joints, lymphatism,scrofula, skin diseases, etc. SEASON—From the 25th of May to the 15th ofOctober. Numerous hotels, boarding houses, furnished rooms,etc. Casino, theatre, concerts, easy mountain excursions. Uriage is within 6>^ miles of Grenoble with which pic-turesque and interesting town it is connected by anelectric railway. Distance from Paris 403 miles via Paris, Lyons 85Mediterranean Ry. 46
