hitecture to thelocation, and the admirable simplicity ol the design. Ihe position of the house, is the center of an arc, the chordof which is about 1,000 ieet, and forms the front of theelegant lawn. In the rear, and stretching forward cres-cent-shaped, is a fine forest, that adds materially to the pic-turesqueness of the place. On the same side of Mr. Schusters, is the handsome villaof Daniel Andrews, of the firm of Tweed & Andrews, Thisis a brick building, with a lofty tower, having a truncatedpyramidal slate roof, in v^hich is an observatory. Two baywindows overlook a lawn studded with evergreens, and twoverandas add to the comfortable and tasteful appearance ofthe edifice. Mr. Andrews is possessed of sufficient goodtaste and good sense, to differ with most suburban property-owners, in allowing the brickwork to remain in its naturalcolor. To-day, his building seems new, and it will do so formany years, till the smoke of a dense settlement effects it asit does city property. Nearly opposite Mr. Andrews residence, is that of WilliamParvin. This house is of br
