been intimately acquainted with Captain Willard Glazier,a comrade in good standing of Post No. 29, Department of New-York, Grand Army of the Republic, for the past eight years,and know him to be worthy the confidence of every loyal man.He is an intelligent and courteous gentleman, an author of goodrepute, a soldier Avhose record is without a stain, and a true comradeof the Grand Array. On the evening of the eighth of May, 1876,Captain Glazier lectured as arranged at TremontTemple, Boston. His subject, appropriate to tiieCentennial year, was entitled Echoes from the^Revolution. This was the first occasion of any im-portance on which he had ever appeared on the ros-trum. The lecture, as we have said, had beenprepared with a view to its delivery at various townsand cities on the route he contemplated traveling.He was introduced to his Boston audience by CaptainTheodore L. Kelly, Commander of Post 15, GrandArmy of the Republic, and was honored by the pres-ence on the platform of representatives from nearlyall the Posts of Boston.
