Use dressed lumber, seven-eights inch, dressed one side and edgefor the frame, making the corners ofthree and four inch strips. Make the stringers running length-wise and those crosswise and those onthe outside of the frame four incheswide. On the top of the outer edgenail for a plate a strip to strenghtento the edge of the upright stringer run-ning lengthwise and crosswise. On thebottom use a 1x3 hard wood of somesort for a shoe, rough stuff, champeredat the ends. This is to serve as shoein moving this cabinet, to admit ofplacing a roller under it easily and tostiffen the frame. Sliding doors shouldbe full length of each apartment, that is,made so as to run open full length of eachapartment. Use one-inch mesh wireon the sides, tops and ends of partitionsand in doors all the way through, doubleselvedge wire is best as it may bestretched so taut as to fairly ring. Now make one more cabinet of thesame dimensions in every respect savethat it is fourteen feet long. Placethis cabinet in aisle next to the stairsand lengthwise of the aisle. Thisallows an aisle each side of the cabinetfour feet wide. The 16-foot cabinetis to be placed at the end of the aisle,furtherest from the stairs al-lowing a passage way between,from aisle to aisle on eitherside of the cabinet. The cabinets maybe spaced off into small apartments byhaving a portable cross frame of wiremade to hook in and be easily removed.Divide space on each floor into two orthree sections the same as with thei6-foot cabinet, as may be desired. Itis a good plan to have some long runsin these hutches for breeding bucks oryoung animals being fitted for exhibitionpurposes. This cage allows a 14-footrun and in it may he placed one cross-panel a foot high, compelling the hareto jump it as he goes
