Both sexes, as with nearly all the otherbirds of prey, incubate Sub-Family Buteonin^.— The Buzzard-Hawks. General form heavy; flight vigorous and long continued, but not so rapid as inthe preceding sub-families. Subsist mainly on small quadrupeds and reptiles. BUTEO, CuviER.
