They have gone each his way, they havegone most of them to their long reward, but their serviceis marked in the lives of hundreds and thousands ofyouth who have carried from this hearthstone the in-extinguishable fire of spiritual interest and spiritual am-bition. We are not today celebrating the end of anything.We have come only to what may be called a station, orperhaps as Xenophon would have had it a completedparasang, in the long march of the spiritual tradition.This College will not end with the completion of onehundred and fifty years of accomplishment. It will stillgain from contemplation of its past and from this cere-mony new strength and new inspiration for the limitlessyears that lie ahead and beyond.
