ont of the l/8 inch bakelite panel by meansof five binding posts. There are three bindingposts at the top, the two outside ones accommd--d^te the ends of the two filaments, while t^e 41 middle cne is the grid connection. The twolower binding ■::osts are for the plate and thecom; on return of the t.vo filaments in the tube« The amplifier tubes ars fitted intostandard V-T sockets which ars fastened uponthe back of the ^anel • Federal Telephone and Telegraph Companysamplifying transformers are mounted upon the backcf the panel as also :-.re the filament rheostats.The knobs of the filament rheostats are mounteden the front of the panel as shown in the photo-graph of the receiving panel. The primary and secondary condensers arealso mounted on the back of the panel below thehoneyccmb coil mounting. Adjustment is madeby knobs on the front of the panel. The binding posts at the lower righthand corner of the panel are used for the 4-and - connections of a three cell Edison storagebattery.
