Contents Note: 5 tracks in red by Capt Ashmore in 1822, 1 track in red by Capt Billing, ship Argo 1834. Text observations (the lagoon formed by the reef at Bird Is. at low water abounds with sharks and the stingray) and sailing directions, Inset: Sketch of Shoal Bay.
