Notes
  • Significance: Rosemary Inn is significant as a representative example of one of a dozen Lake Crescent resorts popular between the 1890s and 1920s. The inn was built on one of the earliest settled tracts of land around the lake. It is associated with events that contributed to resort development on the Olympic Peninsula, with the creation of Olympic National Park and with figures important in the National Park movement. Architecturally, the inn exhibits a high degree of craftsmanship and integrity.
