This abridged version first published in Isaac Commelin's Begin ende voortgang, Amsterdam 1644 (?), here published as a pirated ed. by Joost Hartgers and again in 1650 as the first voyage in his Oost en West-Indische Voyagien (see Alden, European Americana for details)
