Notes
  • Significance: It is representative of infrastructure built to service the Naval Aircraft Factor constructed in 1919, as the valve house for the water tower located directly above it. Building 523 helped maintain the water supply was later converted for fire protection purposes. The building is still located on its original site and has not been altered.
