Notes
  • Significance: It was constructed in 1921 as a 100,000-gallon water tank. This steel structure is representative of infrastructure built to service the Naval Aircraft Factory. Its design is typical of water towers built during the early 20th century. The materials used in its construction may reflect the effect of post-war demobilization on the Naval Aircraft Factory's budget. The structure has not been altered.
  • Survey number: HAER PA-387-AA
  • Building/structure dates: 1921 Initial Construction
