In a few minutes more theOonas swung out into the stream. A liberal backsheeshwas distributed among the Nubians, we hoisted our anchorand steamed southward again. At Korosko we stopped again. Going ashore wepassed through an Ethiopian village and climbed to thetop of a mountain called Awas el-Guarani, from the top ofwhich was had a fine view of the beautiful Nile valley onthe one side and the desert on the other.
