The department of the museum devoted to Mineralogy possesses a peculiar interestfrom the fact that this branch of science was the first in which extensive collectionswere made by the college. For upwards of fifty years the Mineral Cabinet has beenone of the chief attractions connected with the town, which every friend of the collegefrom abroad felt bound to visit.
