Errors on picture of Clan Chattan Crest Badge

Ref: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Clan_Chattan_crest_badge.svg

This is incorrect in 3 ways. 1. The colour of the wreath should be blue and gold. 2. The motto is not Touch not THIS... - it is correctly: Touch not the catt but a glove (Note: the not this; and cat with 2 Ts). 3. The cat should not be coloured as shown. A Scottish wildcat is not this colour of brown and has patterns on it, most notably the tail. On the original patent of arms matriculated for the Chief of Clan Chattan dated 1947, the wildcat is grey with typical black markings.

The correct graphic is this excepting one error here too - the word cat should have 2 Ts : https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Clan_member_crest_badge_Clan_Chattan.jpg — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chattan1 (talk • contribs) 12:24, 5 April 2022 (UTC)

There doesn't (yet) seem to be a correct crest with the correct motto on Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons. It would be great for there to be one. Chattan1 (talk) 08:19, 20 April 2022 (UTC)

@Chattan1: Thank you for the information, I have updated the file with the corrections. Di (they-them) (talk) 20:18, 5 April 2022 (UTC)

Excellent, many thanks indeed for correcting this - your graphics are beautiful! Chattan1 (talk) 08:19, 20 April 2022 (UTC)

Really awesome to see your work!

Heyo, just wanted to give a shoutout to someone making those SVGs, glad to see another enby on Wikipedia as well :) --Spiritual Sausage (talk) 13:01, 25 August 2020 (UTC)

Svg files

Hi. My Inkscape cant open your svg files. Especially the august posts. Do you use special programs? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.29.89.107 (talk • contribs) 14:16, 25 August 2020 (UTC) (UTC)

  • No, I don't use anything other than Inkscape. I'm not sure what the issue may be. Perhaps your Inkscape isn't the newest version, or perhaps the files are too big for your program to handle? Di (they-them) (talk) 15:48, 25 August 2020 (UTC)

Svg files

I dont think is a problem of too big files. The last two files just dont open. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.29.89.107 (talk • contribs) 20:32, 25 August 2020 (UTC) (UTC)

Svg files

Now the last 3. I dont know why.

Reducing the size of the files seems to be a solution. Especially the Canadian and Australian files, which are very interesting but don't open, I don't know why.

Julie Payette full heraldic achievement

Michaëlle Jean full heraldic achievement

Adrienne Clarkson full armorial achievement

South Australia coat of arms proposal 1984

If you can reduce it that would be really good. Thanks in advance.

It seems a problem of "weight", after all. Impressive work anyway.

Coat of Arms of the State Forestry Corps

Hello, I have seen your beautiful creations and I would like to ask you if you could modify this heraldic coat of arms:

File:Coat_of_Arms_of_the_State_Forestry_Corps.svg

And make it more similar to this (official):

Stemma Corpo forestale dello Stato

Waiting for your reply, thank you and best regards. --176.201.61.45 00:00, 18 January 2021 (UTC)

Cyprus Coat of Arms

Where is your source for your version of the coat of arms? It's not displayed on any Cypriot government website or official materials I can find. --65.152.184.226 12:24, 21 February 2021 (UTC)

  • In heraldry, any depiction of a coat of arms that follows the official description is considered correct. Since the official image used by the Cypriot government is copyrighted, my version complies to the official description while still being visually distinct. It is based on the description provided here. Di (they-them) (talk) 14:35, 21 February 2021 (UTC)

Di (they-them)

The new proposed design is still false, and does not reflect the original design on government buildings. I have you, you have two understand. You are from I. The original design created for peace. With particular emphasis on the figure in the middle our brother which is you Di (they-them). I strongly advise to cease altering the original design. I am Gambian living here.. Oraaw (talk) 19:47, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

  • @Oraaw: The design is based on an official government source. On this website, we use sources and citations, which you have not provided. If you want to change it, make your own file. Good day. Di (they-them) (talk) 21:56, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

German colonial flags and arms

Heyo Di, I was wondering if you'd be free/able to redo a set of flags and arms that have been on Wikipedia for about 12 years now in very poor quality that have begun disseminating through the internet as a result. They're the colonial flags and arms from the Imperial era and I think it'd be worth updating for the sake of all of our eyes. If you'd wanna do it as a commission do you think you could shoot me an email so we could take prices? Thanks a million in advance. --Spiritual Sausage (talk) 17:15, 27 April 2021 (UTC)

Request

Hello Di, i hope you are doing great. I am writing these lines to ask you if it would be at your disposal to create the heraldic figure of a tenant hedgehog. I also want to express my admiration for your wonderful work.
Thank you
Sincerely,

@Faqu: Thanks for the compliment, I'd be happy to help. Just to be completely clear on what you want, could you give me an example of something "tenant" so that I know what to make? Di (they-them) (talk) 19:10, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
