Hello, I am in need of some assitance. I use the school computers, and my I.P adress has been blocked, again. Please, the people who are doing the vandilism are little kids who think it's funny, but please, they are just inmature kids. Is there anyway to unblock my I.P??

Hi there, your pic ERP Gantry, North Bridge Road

I don't know if you are aware, but this picture has been used in 25 pages in around 10 languages, I myself have used a lot to illustrate articles regarding the ERP, congestion pricing, electronic toll collection, intelligent transportation systems, etc., in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Even a popular Brazilian weekly magazine use it to illustrate congestion pricing (without the credit to you, I complaint because they also copied and translated text from the w:congestion pricing article, without crediting Wikipedia, but they never answer my complaint). Congratulations! One favor if possible, can you take and upload a picture of the electronic toll in any of the expressways with road pricing; what about the any of the gantries, but at a different angle, perhaps showing the electronic detectors; how about the transponder or smart card in the cars? •  Oppose I think this image fulfills criteria 1-3. The scope is relevant. This ferry service transports 70000 people a day and is well known, which is substantiated by several Wikimedia articles. It is also IMO marginally the best illustration of the subject, and it illustrates it well. However it does not use the {{Information}} template on the image page (or a suitable variation thereof). The date of the photo is not specified as a date field and the EXIF indicates the photo was taken on Jan 1, 2001 @ 0:00 (UTC), which I quite frankly do not beleive is true (crit 4). There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
