@Buidhe: I'm not sure what you mean by "browning leaves"? This was taken during early peak, so there's still a healthy amount of green and very few barren trees. In general, overcast lighting is considered quite favorable for fall foliage. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 17:51, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support Of course a blue sky and gloriously bright sunshine may be more attractive at the first glance, but haze belongs to the autumn just as well as the colourful foliage. Yes, I would love to have a piercing azure blue sky, but as it is the sky isn't the first thing you look at in this image, and what you do look at ... well, I don't live in Vermont but I live reasonably close enough, and that is fall in that New England state most associated with that season. — Daniel Case (talk) 20:02, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose There's definitely a potential here, because the diversity of the colors is rich. However, I agree with Kreuzschnabel the sky is hazy and the light dull. Compare for example with this one recently promoted, there a huge difference (sky and trees).
