Caro Achille83, credo che l'immagine da te creata e rappresentante la planimetria stradale della provincia è fondalmentalmente ambigua !

Barletta è l'unica delle città ad avere il puntino rosso, come ad indicare che si tratti dell'unico capoluogo di provincia, o di città più grande tra le altre.

Revisiona il tuo contributo o mi vedrò costretto ad eliminare il tuo, poco utile, contributo.

Premesso che gradirei una firma a nome dell'autore del messaggio e che wikipedia così come wikimedia commons non sono l'espressione di un unico utente (per altro non loggato o non registrato) e che quindi l'espressione "Revisiona il tuo contributo o mi vedrò costretto ad eliminare il tuo, poco utile, contributo." non solo mi risulta dittatoriale ma anche alquanto arrogante, vengo a precisare i motivi dell'illustrazione sintetica da me realizzata e a rispondere all'indiretta domanda di chiarimento. L'immagine è stata da me ad hoc realizzata per la voce Barletta ed infatti non è utilizzata da alcun'altra voce presente su wikipedia; in quel caso infatti potrebbe sollevare un dubbio di ambigità e faziosità. L'illustrazione non indica affatto "la planimetria stradale della provincia" (come da te creduto). Il "pallino rosso" è presente unicamente sulla città di Barletta (come anche il nome in MAIUSCOLO) e, come riferisce sia il nome dell'immagine "Barletta - Territorio strade.jpg" che la didascalia posta sotto la medesima nel paragrafo in questione "Planimetria stradale del territorio nei pressi di Barletta" è più che giustificato dal fatto che l'immagine sia riferita alla voce wiki sulla città. Fosse stata riferita (es.) alla città di Trani o Andria, il pallino rosso che evidenzia la centralità all'interno del sistema viario posto in evidenza, sarebbe stato posto sulla città di riferimento. Inoltre, tengo a precisare che la voce, dunque anche l'immagine, è passata con parere positivo sia da un vaglio che da una procedura di messa in vetrina, alla quale la voce è giunta da tempo. Dunque prima di ordinare revisioni o di giudicare un contributo poco utile ti invito ad un giudizio più cauto. --Achille83 (talk) 17:37, 12 February 2010 (UTC)--

La mia user page personale ha a che fare con la "mia cara voce" portata in vetrina a suo tempo per legittimi meriti, dopo un vaglio e una procedura di vetrina, come nutella e cozze, dunque nulla! Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
