Reconstructions of indigenous buildings...

In what sense is File:Daybreak Star Guardian of the Spirit 02.jpg a reconstruction of an indigenous building? The tipi is not a reconstruction (nor, really is it a building), and the architectural sculptural remnant of the White—Henry—Stuart Building portrays an indigenous person, but it's neither a reconstruction (it's simply a preserved piece of a demolished building) nor is it indigenous. Hi, ok, I've just removed this image from the category. Yet I think we should keep some other images of tipis in it, as reconstructions of of indigenous "housing", be they not hard/permanent building. See Category:Reconstruction of prehistoric buildings, not all of them (if any) are hard or permanent building. Astirmays (talk) 18:28, 18 July 2014 (UTC)

Contemporary tipis aren't necessarily all "reconstructions". They've been used continuously as dwellings, and there are certainly still thousands of tipi dwellers in North America today (although probably most of them are people with no ethnic connection to the Plains Indians), and far more who may use one as a part-time home in good weather. - Jmabel ! talk 21:46, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
