Hallo Joker,

schön, dass Du das Bild Image:Orgel Nordenst.jpg hochgelagden hast. Allerdings scheint mit der Lizenz etwas nicht ganz zu stimmen. Du sagts, dass das Bild von einem Firmenbriefkopf stammt. Das Urheberrecht für den Briefkopf und der darauf abgebildeten Orgel liegt bei der Firma Voigt, bzw. beim Zeichner der Orgel. Sollte der Zeichner der Orgel bekannt sein, so wird das Bild 70 Jahre nach dem Tod des Autors Public Domain. Sollte der Autor unbekannt sein, so wird das Bild 100 Jahre nach erstmaligem erscheinen gemeinfrei. In beiden Fällen kannst Du {{PD-old}} verwenden. Sollte beides nicht zutreffen, brauchst Du eine schriftliche Genehmigung der Firma Voigt und / oder des Zeichners der Orgel für die Veröffentlichung zum Beispiel unter GNU FDL oder CC. Sollte die Lizenz nicht angepasst werden können, so wird das Bild vermutlich bald gelöscht. Danke! --ALE! 07:18, 19 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Hallo Joker, bitte achte darauf, Bilder so präzise wie möglich zu Kategorisieren. Du hast File:St-dionysius-kelkheim-muenster-3.jpg aus der Kategorie Category:St. Dionysius Church (Kelkheim-Münster) in die Kategorie Category:Classicism verschoben, damit hast du eine präzise Kategorie durch eine Kategorie ersetzt die viel weitere vorne im Kategorienbaum steht, also wesentlich ungenauer ist. Wie folgt (Rückwärts betrachtet)

1. Category:St. Dionysius Church (Kelkheim-Münster) -> 2. Category:Neoclassical churches in Hesse -> 3. Category:Neoclassical churches in Germany -> 4. Category:Neoclassical architecture in Germany -> 5. Category:Neoclassical architecture by country -> 6. Category:Neoclassical architecture -> 7. Category:Neoclassicism -> 8. Category:Classicism.

Derzeit ist das Bild in den Kategorien Architecture und Classicism kategorisiert, diese Kategorisierung ist unpräzise und auch unvollständig da sie nicht ausdrückt dass sich das Gebäude in Münster befindet, das es ein Kirchengebäude ist sowie andere Informationen. Category:St. Dionysius Church (Kelkheim-Münster) ist die päzise Schnittmenge aller Informationen, da es nach Ort, Gebäudeart, Baustil etc. sortiert. Bitte beachte dazu Commons:Kategorien. Your account will be renamed

Hello,

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.

Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Joker. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Joker~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.

Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
